I am a survivor of domestic violence, divorced mother of two. I had a son and a daughter. My son, at 9 months old was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and had to take insulin all his life. He lived until he was 23, he succumbed to the disease April 28, 2005. If you had of met him, you would not have been able to tell he had an illness. His spirit was so loving and joy filled that I am proud to say I am his mother.

I graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit with a degree in Journalism in 1991, while working as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for the Detroit Police Department. I took this job just so I could support my 2 children and buy a house. As we all know, receiving Child Support regularly is a joke. That didn’t deter me though.

I went on to work for Ameritech Advertising (later SBC Directory Operations, then AT&T Yellow Pages) as a customer service rep, then a pagination specialist, then a Graphics Manager, and finally a Marketing Product Manager. Using this experience, I moved into Radio, where I became the webmaster for CBS Radio-V98.7, Smooth Jazz in Detroit. If you visit their site, you will still see my photos there. I was also responsible for shooting artists at jazz concerts and posting them on the web.

Tiring of that and wanting more, I accepted a position with Clear Channel Radio in Detroit, who owns 7 radio stations here. I was an Account Manager. I left, because radio sales is one of the hardest sales jobs there is, and I was working so hard, without any results. I made the decision then to work hard for myself and no one else.

In March of this year, I had major surgery which left me sidelined for a couple of months, but I was determined to get my health back, and I have, thank you Jesus.

Well that’s me in a nutshell.

I would just like to recruit as many people as I can to join me in my quest to becoming wealthy. I’m going to do it, are you?

God blesses me each morning with the ability to make today better than yesterday. That’s my daily spiritual goal.

I’m a big ’self-help, motivation, inspiration reader and implementer. I try to practice what I preach, being patient, learning to love deeper each day, appreciating my many gifts and talents.

I blog because, like a drug it is addictive. Knowing I have something to say, I like researching it, trying to see if it works, then blogging about it. I only blog about things I have tried and have made money from. What’s interesting is that people can be so jaded sometimes, they don’t recognize reality when they see it, missing invaluable opportunities. Oh well, I guess the saying is true, some will, some won’t, oh well.Look me up at my blog Thanks
