Blogging to me is truly an outlet, an extension of my history as a writer. My first experience as a blogger was as an outlet for my poetry at Argonaut [http://jasontheargonaut.com]. It was a great stress free introduction to the blogging world and for a while was a great focusing agent for my writing. I still to this day post a few poems a month to Argonaut. Its therapeutic to say the least and helps keep me sane.
I have helped start about a dozen other blogs along the way. A few poetry community blogs, a health blog, a religion blog, and even a blog about soccer (a close passion of mine). My interests change a lot as you can tell. So more recently I have began to focus my efforts a little more.
I have begun to work more diligently on local blogging in the Charlotte, NC area, where I live. I keep a design blog, Design in Charlotte, NC have helped start a blog directory, NC Blogs , as well as the ongoing blog for Charlotte’s first annual Wordcamp (a min conference for Wordpress blog software users). I get more out of these local blogs because the readers and other contributors are people I get to come into contact with in person on a regular basis. The writing for these blogs becomes a richer experience and translates easily into real world networking. One of the biggest pieces of advice I would give is to blog about something your not only passionate about, but that you will gain from in some way in the long run. It does not have to be money you gain, it can be friends, networking, insight, anything.
More recently I have started my own company, a Social Networking Consultancy call the Stratius Group and along with it one of our big marketing tools is our blog, Your New Media Mecca . I am using everything I have learned along the way with this new blog, and more. I am pushing my marketing skills to the limit and challenging myself. Its a great learning experience and so far we are seeing some strong positive response from our readers.
Overall my favorite thing is sharing insights with other people. The connections and friends you make through blogging are amazing. I always enjoying learning from others and teaching others the things I know. These are the best moments and the things that keep me going.

Jason K is a great person to have featured here on Bloganese. His writing is excellent and his blogs provide valuable resources and information. He is also one heck of a nice guy! You were right Admin, you seem to feature the best of the best!
