Who is C.G. Salgado ?

Hey everyone!!!!

Some might ask who is C.G. Salgado and what made him start the blog “UP TO THE MINUTE, with C.G. SALGADO!!!”. To quote the great Simon Wilder while lecturing at Harvard in “With Honors”, I’m a bum. I’m the logical result of the consequences of a politicized society while instilling the diverse points of view into the brain cells of the citizenry, creating a “Manchurian” village. The news of any geographical area provide the sufficient resources for people like me to create a forum like “UP 2 THE MINUTE”, since now the news media pave the way for the best free advertising for political parties; perform the job of a thirteenth juror in criminal cases; and, like in the Wal Mart insurance refund for the family of an incapacitated worker that got indemnified twice, the media can reverse a judicial mandate by pure public outcry..

Albeit the “bum” remark, I’m an educated “bum”. I’m a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in both the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. I’m also a Lawyer admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar, specializing in Criminal Law. I have my own private practice, where I am both administrator, director, employee, and my own slave. That is why when I speak about a topic related to what I do, it might sound at least convincing.

I’m cynical by upbringing. It is not an escape of the reality, it is, I think, a way of living, a kind of self preservation in a very cynical world, where if you take everything seriously, a heart attack or stroke will ensue.

In “UP TO THE MINUTE, with C.G. SALGADO!!!” the reader will find a commentary on the events of the world. I’m my own researcher, writer, and editor. My lovely wife provides the ‘ink’ to my computer screen. She’s the one that brings me back to life, and gives me sanity while we both rummage through the cynicism of the world.

All I ask of you, the reader, is to examine my blog, and resist judging it, at first at least. Read it, and then judge it as you like, for it is written for the purpose of evoking an emotional response to the person receiving the information. Hopefully, you will smile at the end of the material.
